Dr. Shirin Sewani, DNP, PMHNP-BC, MSN, BSN, RN
Shirin Sewani is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her graduate and undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, graduating with BSN in 2018 followed by my DNP with honors in 2023. She specializes in treating child, adolescent, and adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her areas of expertise include mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ASD, ADHD, trauma, ODD, schizophrenia, and OCD. She is specifically passionate about the child/adolescent population and recognizes the importance of early intervention for optimal outcomes in adulthood.

Dr. Patrick Tapia, MD
Dr. Patrick C. Tapia is a board certified psychiatrist who has been practicing for over 18 years. He earned his degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008. Dr. Tapia is affiliated with several prominent hospitals in the region, including Children's of Alabama at Birmingham, UAB, and Huntsville Hospital. He maintains a specialized focus on treating children and adolescents and is widely recognized for his compassionate approach and deep commitment to his patients.
